Kristin Dunning M. Ed.
Educational Consultant/College and Career Planner
Kristin graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a major in English and a minor in Environmental Studies; she earned an M.A. in English Education from the University of Montana. Kristin has been an educator for over twenty-five years. Her teaching experience covers a vast range from fourth grade through middle school, high school, and college. She has taught in both public schools and independent private schools and brings a wealth of professional and personal experience to her work. For the past nine years, she has worked as a counselor for the Wallingford Swarthmore School District where she serves as Department Chair. In addition to being a Certified Secondary School Counselor, she is a member of the American Society of School Counselors and the Pennsylvania Association of College Admissions Counselors. Kristin enjoys helping students at all levels find career and college goals that suit their interests and has experience helping with all aspects of the application process. She believes the college search and application process can and should be exciting and fun rather than stressful. She takes particular joy in helping students develop their confidence and take pride in what they have accomplished as they consider the opportunities that lie ahead of them.
Kristin lives in Wallingford, PA with her husband, two children, and dog. She loves to travel with her family and has been fortunate to spend time exploring the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean. In the summers, Kristin enjoys vacationing “off the grid” on a lake in Maine.
