Lori Rice-Spring, M.Ed.

Educational Consultant/College and Career Planner

Lori graduated magna cum laude from West Chester University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Women’s Studies. She earned an M.A. in Counseling from Temple University and is a Pennsylvania-certified secondary school counselor. Lori’s work with adolescents spans over twenty years and a variety of professional experiences including case management for an inpatient drug and alcohol clinic, private practice psychotherapy, and public school guidance counseling. Lori specializes in helping students determine and pursue college and career goals which best suit their strengths, interests, and needs. Her wide range of counseling experience enables her to work with students at every level and every stage of the process from researching schools to meeting deadlines, scheduling testing, submitting applications, and preparing for life after high school. Lori and her students work together to navigate the college-application process and chart a course to launch the next phase of their educational journeys. She believes that every student has a story to tell, and it’s her job to listen.


Lori lives in Wallingford, PA with her husband and rescued Nepali dogs. She’s an avid reader and hiker and enjoys being outside as much as possible. Lori’s children have either graduated from college, are in the midst of college, or just beginning the college journey this year.
